In Wisconsin, many Mills Fleet Farm locations have a gas station. So, picture a Home Depot with gas pumps.

Ah Buc-ee's, they're actually great places to stop on road trips since the bathrooms are huge (little to no lines), and damn near always spotless. Plus they have good jerky. :)

Many supermarkets have attached petrol stations. We call them "gas" stations. ;-) Buc-ee's is more of what we call a truck stop. They first sprang up as way stations to serve the long haul truckers. Now they have become stopping points for all travelers, with supplies for truckers, showers, as well as food, clothes, DVDs, pork rinds and beef jerky.

Nope its pretty rare here in the western US the only ones I have seen are big truck stops. (not sure about east coast)

Oh, yeah, we call those 'motorway service stations', or just 'motorway services'. They range in size from fairly small to fucking gigantic, and typically feature an array of fast-food establishments, an arcade, a few shops - selling clothes, magazines, snacks, tents, outdoor clothes, charging cables, headphones, and anything else a traveller might want to get moderately ripped-off buying - and the all-important petrol dispensary.

Some do. Look up Costco or Sams club.
Gas stations usually have 'convenience stores'. Some sell typical groceries but it's mostly junk food/snack food type stuff

My wife has an unhealthy obsession with Buc-ee's. Anytime we're going toward Houston for anything, we will be stopping.
They're actually getting ready to open one in our town. Supposed to be the second largest location behind New Braunfels.
